This month there is an opportunity to come to 2 art classes at Winmalee Neighbourhood Centre! Lucky duck!
The first is a one off class where we will be making Intention & Gratitude Dolls.
This is a sold out class whenever I run it for kids and parents are always asking when I will run it for them. Winmalee Neighbourhood Centre has been a fabulous location for classes so I thought we would squeeze in an adults class before the Christmas rush.
“Setting intentions and deciding what I want in life, how I want to feel, who I want to be, as well as taking the time to reflect and be grateful for the things I already have, has played a huge roll in my happiness and growth this year.”
There is a lot of science behind it too. I would love to share this with you in the way of Intention & Gratitude Dolls.
Parents have found these dolls to be a great talking point with their kids and a fantastic way to teach them resilience.
It is the same for adults. Notice the change in your outlook on life and watch things unfold.
Don't just wait for life to happen to you, dream big, make choices and decide what you want.
Make one for yourself or a loved one. Christmas is just around the corner!

Also returning is our monthly Intuitive Art Journaling class.
Last month we had so much fun! There were seasoned artists as well as beginners and everyone in between. There was laughter and chatter. There was gluing and painting and mark making. There was honesty and pride. It really warmed my heart watching my students create something from deep within.

The prompt for November’s class is "Setting Boundaries".
This is not a strict art class, it is about taking time for yourself to enjoy the process of creating. People always tell me they are no good at art or they are afraid to even get started.
This class is not about perfectionism, it is about loosening up and having the creation flow. It is all about the process.
In this class you will:
listen to a visualisation to get you in the right head space.
learn about art journaling and the prompt we will be using to create your journal page.
complete an artwork and have a grin from ear to ear because you rocked it!
meet new people in a super friendly environment
learn new skills that you can use at home
feel happy that you gifted yourself some time to be you
get access to the private Facebook group where I share photos from the night, print outs and tips. It is a place for you to share what you are working on out of class and support your fellow students.

Absolutely no prior art experience is necessary. If you can cut and glue and hold a paint brush, then you are set!
