Art has always been more than colour on a canvas. It’s expression, emotion, energy, an experience, a way of reclaiming parts of ourselves that we forget in the rush of everyday life.

At Creative Abyss, empowering art is at the heart of everything I do.

While creativity can absolutely happen alone at home, art classes offer something rare: a safe, structured, encouraging environment where you can explore freely.

In Creative Abyss classes, you’re guided gently through materials, techniques, and expressive prompts. There is no pressure to be “good at art.” Instead, you are encouraged to delve into the process, experiment, and discover yourself through making.

The Art I Create  And How It Empowers Women at Home

Beyond teaching, I am constantly creating my own intuitive, mixed-media pieces that honour womanhood, myth, nature, strength, and softness. My process is fluid and instinctive. I begin without a strict plan, letting colour, texture, and movement guide me. The finished work always reveals something, a message, an energy, a story that wants to be expressed.

The themes in my work reflect what many women long for in their daily lives: connection, courage, beauty, grounding, ritual, softness, and self-belief.

When you bring one of my pieces into your home, it’s not just décor, it’s an energetic companion. A mirror. A reminder.

My art is created to empower women by:

• Setting the tone of a space - calm, powerful, inspiring, nurturing

• Acting as a daily affirmation - reminding you of your inner strength

I often hear from women who say a particular piece “spoke to them,” “felt like a reflection of their story,” or “brought a sense of grounding” into their home. That is the intention behind every artwork I create.

On my website, you’ll also find my “not-just-a-greeting” cards often framed by customers, given as meaningful gifts, or kept as powerful reminders around the home.
