JULY HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Can you believe there are only 3 weeks left of school before the July holidays start? This term has flown!

I have just put out my holiday workshop schedule for the first week of the holidays with a sneak peak at what we will be doing in each class.

Workshops are for primary ages kids and the ratio is 1:6 so they get my full attention, not like being in a full classroom.

Art program for kids, Creative Abyss
July 2019 Kid's Art Workshops

I have purposely made both sessions, afternoon sessions, so you can spend a bit of time with your kids in the morning or organise a play date or sleep in and start the day slow. Each session goes for an hour and a half, which I find gives the kids enough time to complete one artwork and holds their attention.

If you want to book both sessions in a day, that is great. Please pack a snack for them, for in between.

For those of you who don't know me... I am Jade and I am an artist and mum to 3 boys. I hold the workshops in my home in Winmalee, NSW where I have a dedicated art space to create my own art and teach. I have been running art classes for 5 years with homeschoolers and mainstream kids. Aside from the holiday workshops, I also run term classes for kids, one off 1:1 classes for kids and adults, I have my Art Classes For Busy Mums group who meet once a month and host Art Journaling Fridays. If you want to know more, have a read of my last blog - How I can Be Of Service To You which goes into more detail.

If your kids love art, love meeting new people and getting messy, then have a think about booking them in.

If you want:

* to get your kids off screens and using their imaginations

* some time to yourself

* your kids to have some fun

* your kids to learn new skills

then these classes are for you!

You child will:

* create an artwork that they can take home

* learn new skills that they can use again and again in their own artworks

* meet new people

* have fun in a safe, fun, friendly environment

* get messy

* spend time doing something they love

Here are some testimonials from my kids classes.

"I love seeing my daughter come home from her art class with Jade so proud of herself and what she has created.

Jade has a wonderful ability to encourage our often reluctant and hesitant daughter to explore and try new things, which is a huge thing for her.

My hubby and I are so grateful for how well Jade seems to understand our daughter and is able to create individualised art lessons that allow our daughter to explore her interests and develop artistically and personally"

"I really like doing this class because I can relax. It's fun and fun is good, and it's also good for your mental health because of how relaxing it is. If you go there once a week and say, on the weekend, you're brothers and sisters have been screaming and crying all that time, then it will all flow out and you will be ready for another week of it. I faithfully recommend it. Signed Amy"

Amy, student

"I just wanted to thank you for everything. Adelaide has had the best time in your beautiful art classes. It has grown her self confidence, made her look at the world through different eyes and brought her so much peace and happiness. She is so proud of her portfolio of work, and so are we!!! The mixed media portrait is amazing and we will definitely get it framed. Thank you for amazing term and we look forward to enrolling her again in the future xx"

"I am writing to tell you that while we were relaxed, chatting about this year's extra curricular activities on weekdays, Grace firmly said that all she wants to do is your art lessons! Thank you for being such an inspiring and loving teacher for Grace. It was great to hear this from her!"

As there are only 6 spots available in each class, they do tend to book out quickly.

Call me to book a spot on 0415 473 268 or email me at creative.abyss@yahoo.com.au.

Feel free to share this with friends who might like to come too.
