Yemaya is a joy to admire and will brighten up any space.
She is serene and peaceful.
She was made using acrylics, posca pens and paper from a book called "First Experiences With Literature" from 1932. It was from a page teaching how to read poetry to children.
I struggled with her name for weeks and was given so many ideas. I picked Yemaya who is a mother goddess, the goddess of home, fertility, love and family. Like water she represents both change and constancy-bringing forth life, protecting it, and changing it as is necessary. She is a Goddess of the ocean and New Year. http://www.goddessgift.com/goddess-myths/yemaya-goddess.htm
I missed out on getting her scanned properly before selling the original but am not sad at all because this picture of her in the ferns is divine!
